Sur les repr\'esentations du groupe fondamental d'une vari\'et\'e priv\'ee d'un diviseur \`a croisements normaux simples Niels Borne 14F0514F35parabolic sheaffundamental group scheme Given a projective variety $X$ over an algebraically closed field $k$, we investigate the properties of parabolic bundles along a fixed simple normal crossings divisor $D$. We show in particular that, if $k$ is of characteristic zero, finite parabolic bundles are in one to one correspondence with representations of the \textit{\'etale} fundamental group of $X-D$. This fact is used to define a fundamental group scheme, following Nori's ideas, in this setup.
